Seattle Story 12: U-Village

The University Village Shopping Center, also known as U-Village, is located in Seattle, Washington. This outdoor mall is home to a variety of well-known stores, delectable eateries, one-of-a-kind boutiques, and eye-catching souvenirs.

It was a dark autumn night. The hustle and bustle of the street suddenly quieted down. In “Liam’s” mind, there was always a lingering memory.

Not overly sweet or dry, but with a robust, Cabernet Sauvignon-like flavor.

3월 서울에서의 개인전을 앞두고 하나, 둘.. 8년간 그려놓았던 그림들을 정돈한다.

배경은 Seattle 에 있는 U-Village이다.

2017년 작이다.

복잡한 거리는 잠이들기 시작했다.

하늘에 걸린 별도 따줄게 하던 연인들도 각자의 집으로.. 한아름 선물을 안고 차 트렁크에 실던이들도 각자의 방향으로… 그렇게 떠났다.

 “Liam’s” 를 바라보았다.

옛날의 기억을 꺼내어 보았다.

Cabernet Sauvignon 마냥 그리 달지도 그리 dry 하진 않지만 깊게 빠진 그 기억을.. 보고싶다..
